This guitar weighs 10lb 4oz.

This 1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom is in excellent condition and has been professionally set up. The original frets have been dressed and have plenty of life left. This guitar plays tremendous up and down the fingerboard. The Gibson humbucking pickups sound fabulous. The bridge pickup produces a clear and articulate tone that sounds great for both overdriven and clean sounds. The neck position humbucking pickup has a round warm fat quintessential Les Paul tone that sounds massive through an overdriven amp and extremely jazzy and nice when clean.

This guitar shows some signs of play wear here and there but nothing that’s a dealbreaker as this instrument has been very well cared for. There are two small scratches on the top of the guitar right in front of the neck pickup corner. The gold hardware on this instrument has tarnished a bit with age. The neck pickup ring is cracked in the center and the output jack has been rewired. The electronics (other than the output jack) have not been touched and appear to be all original. The rest of this instrument is bone stock. The pot codes date to the fifth week of 1976. This is a very fine example of the Les Paul Custom model. If you're looking for a '70s rock machine or just a great all around Gibson Les Paul Custom, this one should seriously be considered.
