This very fine 1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom is in excellent vintage cosmetic condition showing only a very slight signs of play wear throughout including two very small dings on the body and some slight tarnishing of the hardware. This Les Paul is all original with the exception of the four electronic cavity cover plate screws. The neck profile is that of a typical medium to thin shape with a 1 11/16" nut width. This is really just a great feeling comfortable neck - not too thin and not massive, just right. The truss rod is fully operational. The original frets are in great shape and have been dressed. The frets have lots of life left in them and this guitar has just received a professional setup. It plays effortlessly up and down the fingerboard with low smooth action and spot on intonation. The original pickups sound terrific and the original electronics operate perfectly without any extra noise. There is a visible potentiometer code that reads 1377610 indicating that this component was made by CTS on the 10th week of 1976. The finish on this Custom is very vibrant and looks stunning in person especially paired with the ebony fretboard, split diamond inlay and multiple bindings. This Lester is housed in its original black hard shell case with purple interior for safe travels. If you are after a righteous 70s rock machine or just a gorgeous, all original Les Paul Custom, then this one’s got you covered.
