This Gibson Les Paul Custom was made in the USA in 1975, although it retains the "20th Anniversary" inlay that was mostly used in 1974. The guitar shows play wear but is in very good condition overall. There are no breaks, repairs, or other structural damage. Everything is original except for the tuners and one of the pots. The tuners are repro-waffle backs and the guitar formerly had Grover Rotomatics. The guitar is stamped "2" for no discernible reason. It weighs 9 pounds and 10 ounces. The original patent number pickups sound incredible. This guitar has relatively light play wear, but almost all the gold is worn off the bridge pickup cover which is in contrast to the neck pickup cover which retains most of the gold. Originally we thought the bridge pickup cover must be changed, but it appears to be sealed with the original solder. As such, we are not sure why there is disproportionate wear on the bridge pickup cover but we think it is original. The guitar has been pro-setup and is in excellent playing condition. It comes with the original case in the pictures.
