Description

Here we have a 1972 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe refinished in Pelham Blue. The guitar is in fair to good condition with lots of playwear, a few chips and scratches, and some pitting of the hardware. Tuners, nut, and bridge have been replaced, but it has its original Gibson-embossed Patent Decal pickups which are worth the price of admission all by themselves. Plays and sounds really nice.

Basic Specs: Non-original Grover Kluson-style tuners. Comfortable 1 11/16 inch nut width with non-original Bone nut. Three-piece Mahogany neck with a 24.75 inch scale length. Neck depth of .80 inches at the first fret and one full inch at the twelfth fret. Small volute. Bound Rosewood fingerboard refretted with Jumbo wire. 12 inch radius. Two Gibson-embossed mini-humbuckers with Patent Decal. Original CTS pots and one replaced cap. Replaced ABR-1 with original tailpiece. Top-only refin in lovely Pelham Blue. Pancake body. Diamond-shaped plate added at the rear strap button.

This is a great player grade Deluxe with some mods but original pickups which sound magnificent. Comes with a modern TKL-made hardshell case.
