This 1955 Gibson Les Paul Jr. Is certainly a unique guitar! Starting out as a single cut Sunburst example, this guitar was sent to Gibson in the early 1970s where it was factory refinished in a cherry red finish. All of the documentation from Gibson including a copy of the check used to pay for the labor. This color perfectly showcases the beautiful mahogany grain pattern on this resonant guitar. A comfortable '55 neck profile, rosewood fingerboard, and single "dog ear" P90 round out this phenomenal sounding player grade junior.
