Here's a 1959 Gibson Les Paul Jr Double Cutaway in Cherry finish. Near mint, exceptional example, that's all original. 5 digit serial number that reads 9 8097. Here's yet another example of special guitars made in Kalamazoo, MI in 1959 are the greatest! This is an incredible playing and sounding junior. Impossible to put down. The finish is gorgeous, and it's vibrant and unfaded. The guitar looks even better in person! When you strum it acoustic, it's loud, and extremely resonant. The has the typical round '59 profile, and feels great. It measure .925" at the 1st, and 1.00" at the 12th. The frets are in nice shape as well. And the P-90 has some serious magic! Full, punchy, and articulate. Everything you'd want and expect from a great 50s Jr. The only thing to note, is at some point the guitar had other tuners on that left small extra screw holes. Those have been professionally filled in, and the original tuners are back on. Tough to find 'em this clean. Special Special guitar! Original Chip Board case included...
