Here's a bone stock 59 double cut Junior. It's been played plenty but not messed with. It is all original except, most likely, the frets. Neck is that big 59 profile everybody wants (which is why 59's are so desirable). First fret depth is .88" and the 12th is .99". Nut width is, as expected, 1 11/16". Weight is 7 lbs 3 ounces. There is what appears to be a touchup to the solder of the ground wire. I checked the P90 to make sure it had the proper tape (see black light photo) and was from the correct era. It has not been out of the guitar. The guard shows no sign of deterioration (a common problem with celluloid guards). The case is pretty beat up-it's 64 year old cardboard after all but latches and hinges are fine. This is bright and aggressive player. Loud and bold-this one will cut through your heavy handed drummer and overzealous bass player. Guitar shows some player wear but nothing glaring. Front has faded a little but still has very good color. Frets have plenty of life left in them. Headstock stinger is unusual on a Jr and looks pretty cool.
