This Gibson Les Paul Junior was made in the USA in 1958. This is a very cool first year double-cut junior with an early 4 digit inked serial number. The guitar shows some play wear but there is no structural damage and overall it is in very nice shape for its age. The original cherry finish has faded considerably to an almost brown but looks stunning in person. The guitar is all original except for the tuner buttons and it has been pro-setup in our shop so it is playing like a dream. The neck is a dreamy chunky D with a depth of .911" at the 1st fret and 1.005" at the 12th fret. The pickup sounds exactly like what you would want a 50's Gibson P90 to sounds and has a nice hot reading of 8.24K. This beauty weighs in a slim 6 lbs 8.1 oz and it comes with a late 70's Gibson protector or chainsaw hard shell case.
