Here we have a 1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior with a cool black refin. This guitar will give you everything you expect in a late 50s Junior but at a much lower price point because of the refinish, repaired neck heel, and general playwear.
Original 3-on-a-plate Kluson tuners. Replacement bone nut with a width of 1 11/16 inches. Mahogany neck with a 24.5 inch scale length and a neck depth of .875 inches at the first fret and .9375 inches at the twelfth fret. 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard with a 12 inch radius. The guitar was refretted with jumbo wire and the frets are in excellent condition. Amazing original P-90 pickup. Extra ground wire added. Modern replacement volume and tone knobs and Gibson wraparound tailpiece. Original tortoise-style pickguard.
This is a powerful guitar in both looks and sound. And it’s a great price point to get into the world of vintage Les Paul Juniors.
