1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior

This came from a studio in Los Angeles, so it has been well-used, with visible fading, dings, and buckle wear, but no breaks. Original P-90 pickup and wraparound bridge with nice, vertical posts (these can lean from tension over time, making the guitar more difficult to play and set up). Rather light at 7 pounds on the nose, and a classic medium-large neck, not too big and not too small. If you're wondering what's up with the control cavity on the back, so were we - installed is a hum canceling system by Ilitch Electronics that works quite well by using a dummy coil and a push-pull pot to toggle it on and off (hum, no-hum). Willie’s did a great refret (you’re welcome) so it's ready for stage use. Repro tuners (drop-in, so no extra routing or drilling) are installed but all original components are included plus an improved wraparound in the modern deluxe brown Gibson Historic hard case. Priced lower as it’s not quite mint but a rising tide lifts all boats, and this is sure to go up in value with time. Likely one of the best LP Juniors we've had.
