1972 Les Paul Recording
Les Paul Recording" was produced from around 1971 to 1979. Equipped with embossed low-impedance pickups. It is also equipped with a switch for switching between high and low impedance, a characteristic of early models. The 11-step Rotor Rational switch, which can be used at low impedance, functions to shave off the high a little at a time. A phase switch is also provided, and a unique phase-out sound can be obtained in the center position. 3-way switch 1 activates only the volume and rotary switch, 2 activates all circuits, and 3 bypasses the treble/bass only. The body is pancake construction with mahogany also used for the body top. It is a very special model, to say the least, but it is a Les Paul model that makes you think, "It is so cool that they came up with such a guitar," and you can strongly feel the manufacturer's ambition.
