Description

Here's a KILLER vintage original 1961 Gibson Les Paul SG Standard in a black re-finish.

Neck is nice and wide and plays fantastic. Feels amazing. Wood is the best you can find. The neck wood and body wood is just super light and resonant and makes for a spectacular tone.

The neck is straight with a killer action and no buzz or issues. It looks to us like it has had a professionally repaired heel repair that is very hard to see. it does not appear to have any cracks or breaks to the headstock. The headstock as well as the rest of the guitar has been refinished black, and has really cool wear to it.

Features two Gibson Burstbucker AL V humbucker pickups wound by PS - Gibson Custom Shop humbuckers. They sound super warm and fat with a classic vintage tone. Pots and caps are changed, but they are old CTS pots similar to the originals.

The bridge has been changed, but remnants of the original tailpiece remain on the guitar. Tuners are Grovers which keep it well in tune. Knobs and pickguard are changed as well.

This baby has been around the block, and has stories to tell in the sound she makes. A great players 1961 SG for a fraction of the price! A wonderful players guitar. Perfect for gigging and recording.

Comes with a good hard case.
