Description

This 1996 Gibson Les Paul Special plays and sounds great! The neck has a slimmer '60s feel and the woods are comprised of solid mahogany. The heritage cherry finish really rounds off that classic look. Gibson originally called this model the "Junior II" in their catalog, sporting a stock tune-o-matic bridge which is a quite hard to find spec on Gibson Les Paul Juniors and Specials.

This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and small finish chips throughout the body. The headstock shows some additional minor dents as well. The hardware is lightly tarnished and the binding around the neck has yellowed from over time. The frets are used but still have plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.

The bridge pickup has been swapped for a Seymour Duncan SP90. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
