2011 Gibson Les Paul Special Cherry

Summary: Although it's referred to as the Les Paul Junior Special, the Special P-90 is far more similar to early Specials than the Junior. The Les Paul Special presents a modern take on the iconic Les Paul Junior featuring two painstakingly recreated P-90 pickups, made with actual Alnico V magnets. This particular Gibson has a wonderful cherry finish & it was recently set up with a new set of 10’s.

Body: Solid mahogany body with a single cutaway & a glossy cherry finish

Neck: Fully bound mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, 22 frets, 1 11/16” nut width, 24.5” scale length, Kluson Deluxe tuning keys with white buttons.

Pickups/Hardware: 2 P-90 pickups, 2 volume knobs, 2 tone knobs, 3-way switch, chrome hardware, Les Paul “Special” truss rod cover,

Cosmetics: This Les Paul has been played with care and shows only a bit of buckle rash, some pick scratches and a couple minor dings along the edge.

Playability: This Gibson has been set up with 10’s and the guitar plays great up & down the fingerboard. The truss rod is fully functional!
