Gibson 1978 Les Paul Special Double Cutaway
This is a 1978 "Les Paul Special Double Cutaway" model in Tobacco Sunburst finish.
It has a 20F neck joint, which is deeper than the 50's~60's, Nashville type bridge, stop tailpiece, and Grover tuners.
Two original P-90 pickups are installed, and the pot date is '78.
Capacitors have been replaced.
There are many tiny dents all over the body, buckle marks on the body back, dents with paint chips on the back of the neck near the 7th floor, scuffs on the fingerboard, and a dent on the tip of the head, giving the guitar an age-appropriate feel.
There are no dents on the frets, and the frets have about 40-50% remaining, but there are currently no sound clogging points.
The neck and truss rod are in good condition.
The guitar comes with an early 70’s Gibson Hard Case. (The latchess are broken in two places).
