Included with the sale are the original Gibson Lifton Brown fitted hardcase, Certificate of Authenticity, paperwork, and tags. To top it off, this one weighs in at just 8.59 lbs!
If you're here, you probably already know about the '60th '59. These guitars are among Gibson's most cherished and acclaimed releases in recent years. Their return to fundamentals, precision, and thorough study of original models have resulted in the most accurate '59 replicas ever produced.
The features of the 60th '59 are widely recognised, but to highlight them again: they include hide-glue construction, un-potted “CustomBucker” AlNiCo III pickups (the first year this feature was introduced), an ABR-1 bridge, Kluson single ring/single line tuners, true historic plastics, and many other subtle details mirroring the originals.
This particular example boasts a top that is truly awe-inspiring—it's hot! Moreover, the 2019 "Factory Burst" finish is exceptional and differs from the current "Factory Burst" offered by Gibson. The 2019 version employed a double-stained finish, which greatly enhanced the wood grain and figuring. In contrast, the contemporary "Factory Burst" falls short of the stunning beauty captured by the 2019 60th '59s.
Our Les Paul is in excellent condition, having been well-maintained with no breaks or repairs. It shows some signs of play, including a few light surface marks and a small chip near the jackplate. Noteworthy is a slight lacquer flake on the right side of the headstock peak, which is due to a finish imperfection rather than impact. Additionally, there's some red dye bleed into the binding, a common occurrence with this model due to era-accurate finishing.
The neck and fretboard are in top shape, with minimal wear, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted playing experience. All stock electronics are fully functional and operate seamlessly. The un-potted "CustomBucker" AlNiCo III pickups are truly exceptional, providing the finest and most vintage-voiced Les Paul tone we've encountered here at In Bloom Guitars!

Customers are responsible for covering all shipping and insurance expenses for both outbound and return shipments, unless alternative arrangements have been made.
