Excellent condition featuring single cutaway mahogany body with cherry stain finish, bound (thin through the cutaway) AAA grade flamed maple top with Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish, two Gibson Burstbucker humbucking pickups with cream colored plastic pickup surrounds, two volume controls and two tone controls with gold plastic reflector top knobs, three way pickup selector switch with cream colored plastic Rhythm and Treble selector ring and amber colored plastic switch tip, elevated single ply cream plastic pickguard with metal mounting bracket, stop tailpiece and ABR-1 bridge with six individual adjustable steel saddles and two height adjusting thumb wheels, set mahogany neck with cherry stain finish, bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays starting at the third fret, bone nut, Gibson open book peghead shape, black peghead face with pearl Gibson logo and gold printed Les Paul Model signature logo, multi-ply black and white bell shaped truss rod cover with Standard printed on it, three per side individual Grover Rotomatic tuning machines, serial number and Made In USA impressed into the back of the peghead, single ply black plastic electronics and switch cavity cover plates, two metal strap buttons, chrome plated metal hardware and original Gibson hard shell case with brown Tolex covering, red plush interior and all case candy. This 2020 Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s is in excellent, virtually unplayed cosmetic condition. This model is part of a special run from Sweetwater that features a AAA figured maple top and Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish. The neck profile is that of a Gibson 1960s shape - it is slim with a flat center and has very nice rounded shoulders. This neck is exceptionally comfortable to play and has a fast feel. The frets are in immaculate condition and show no signs of play wear. This Lester has been set up and it plays tremendous up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation. The Gibson Burstbucker pickups sound fantastic in this guitar. These pickups have a very articulate yet rounded tone that excels through a broken up amp and also works incredibly well for fat, clean tones. The flamed AAA maple top on this guitar is stunning and has plenty of motion in different light sources and at different angles and it looks stellar paired with the dark rosewood fingerboard. This Les Paul is housed in its original Gibson hard shell case and includes its original strap and case candy.
