2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus DC Trans Amber

Excellent condition featuring double cutaway mahogany body, two piece figured maple top with transparent amber finish, 498T and 490R humbucking pickups with cream plastic pickup surrounds, one volume control and one tone control with gold plastic bonnet knobs, three way pickup selector switch with cream plastic switch tip, stop tailpiece, Nashville tune-o-matic bridge with six individual adjustable steel saddles and two height adjusting thumb wheels, set mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays starting at the third fret, bone nut, Gibson open book peghead shape, black peghead face with pearl Gibson logo and Les Paul Model logo, multi-ply black and white plastic bell shaped truss rod cover with Standard engraving, three per side Grover Rotomatic tuning machines, serial number and Made In USA impressed into the back of the peghead, two metal strap buttons, gold plated metal hardware and original Gibson hard shell case with black Tolex covering and white plush interior. This guitar weighs 6lb 2oz.

This 2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus DC is in excellent cosmetic condition showing almost no signs of play wear throughout. There is a little bit of tarnish on the hardware but the guitar is otherwise exceptionally clean. The neck profile feels great on this guitar and has a medium carve with a flat center and a 1 11/16” nut width. This neck is very comfortable. The fret wire shows virtually no signs of wear. This guitar has been professionally set up and plays tremendous up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation. The 498T and 490R humbucking pickups sound terrific in all three positions and will deliver anything from smooth clean tones to an aggressive rock and roll bite. The quilted top on this Les Paul is stunning especially paired with the Trans Amber finish and gold hardware.
