The "LG-1" was introduced in 1943 as a small body guitar with ladder bracing.
Although it was a low-priced guitar in the lineup, it is a model with a unique sound character and has a secret core fan base.

The one introduced here was made in 1964.
The nut width is 42mm, but the pitch between the strings is narrower, so it plays like a narrow neck.
The plastic bridge gives it an airy feel, and the plywood gives it a nice boxy sound.
The strong black sunburst color, which is unique to this age, enhances the austerity of the instrument and gives it a good appearance.

- Neck is straight, no chatter or clogging.
- String height at 12th fret: 2mm on 6th string side, 1.6mm on 1st string side
- Saddle protrusion: approx. 2.7mm-2.5mm
- Neck grip/body back refinish.
- Fretboard/saddle replacement
- The bridge is cracked and has some lift. (There is no problem in playing, but if you are concerned about it, we can replace it with a wooden bridge.)
