Natural, with new top. Yes, a well executed Sitka Spruce top. This was sold to a customer of ours years ago as an LG-3. The rest of the guitar is all 1953 Gibson with great Honduran Mahogany neck back and sides along with a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. We love the 1953 Gibson necks for their just perfect medium size. The frets are in great shape and the nut is original with factory lacquer on the sides. The Kluson tuners are original with fresh buttons. The finish on the back of the guitar is original too. The treble side has patched hole (possibly a jack hole) with much lacquer finish missing.
The top and binding are new. The new bridge looks Brazilian and has a through saddle which is tall and the action is low so a neck reset is not needed. The top is sanded well to proper 50’s thickness. The tone is rich and full.
This is a great stage guitar. Add a pickup or two. Have it hand painted, personalize it and take it on the road and get that great Gibson mahogany tone. We send all used guitars through the shop. It’s ready. Comes with a newer hard case.
