Here's a 1984 Gibson Map guitar. 100% original example....no breaks, cracks, repairs. If you've ever been looking for a map guitar to not only collect, but also play...this would be the one. First, the guitar is production number 1!! Second, all the original hang tags/case candy are included. From the warranty card, to the original Gibson ad's, even the picks! Third, the guitar plays & sounds amazing! Good weight & balance, with buttery low action, and just a fantastic feeling neck. The original 490R & 498T humbuckers are clear, balanced, and sound GREAT. Map guitars are all slightly different, as there was a lot of hand tooling in making the bodies. This is this one of the best representations we've ever come across! OHSC included!
