This is an interesting and historical piece, essentially a Mandolin superimposed on a scaled-down Banjo-Style body. Strung, tuned, and played like a Mandolin but with a whole different sound. If you're a Gibson collector or just a mandolin player who wants to step outside the norm, this is the ticket.
Set up in-house by our Guitar Tech who tells us that some of the fingerboard binding has been replaced on both sides. If you're interested in purchasing this vintage instrument, feel free to give us a call in the Shop for an in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have.
