While nearly nothing on this guitar is original, this is a fantastic, players grade 1961 Gibson Melody maker!
The pickup and electronics have been replaced as shown in the photos. The bridge has also been replaced from the original and it appears the tuning keys have also been swapped out. The volume/tone knobs are also not original. There looks to have been a headstock repair at some point. The guitar was refinished a long time ago in white nitro. This was likely refinished in the 70s or 80s.
This guitar shows signs of cosmetic wear from over the years such as scratching, chips, and dents in the finish. Part of the serial number has also faded and is now hard to read. The finish has otherwise aged beautifully! The frets are worn but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
