This Gibson Melody Maker plays and sounds great! The body is super light-weight and the neck feels comfortable to play.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years as you would expect from a vintage instrument. Most notably, there's finish checking all throughout the body with various other scratches, dents, scuffs, and chips. There's also additional wear down the back of the neck and headstock as well. The hardware shows some oxidation from over time and the D string tuner is crooked, but still functions. There's also some scuffs on the tuning keys. The frets show normal play wear and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar appears to be original.
