1998 Gibson Custom Shop Montana Gold J-200 by Ren Ferguson!

Very nice and rare early Gibson Montana Gold SJ-200 with signed COA by REN FERGUSON who designed this model. Not many of these have this COA or maple figuring like this. This is a beautiful example and it has to be one of the nicer ones out there. The figuring on the back, sides, and neck is simply stunning. The guitar is in near mint condition. It does have some normal finish checking as is common on Gibson acoustics from the 1990's. The guitar comes with the original hardshell case, COA, humidifier, and all the paperwork as shown.

Montana Gold Flame Maple

The Custom Montana Gold takes the SJ-200 design to the highest level of craftsmanship. This stunning acoustic guitar was designed by Gibson Acoustic’s master luthier Ren Ferguson, and is a testament to the skill and spirit of the Gibson’s guitar builders in Bozeman, Montana. The simple elegance of the Custom Montana Gold is evident in every detail, including its AAA-grade Sitka spruce top, with matching AAA-grade Eastern curly maple back and sides, releasing a rich, full, and balanced high end and grand projection. The traditional Super Jumbo body delivers a deep, rich tone, while hand-scalloped top bracing offers added strength and a lighter top, enhancing the guitar’s sonic projection.
