Description

We’re so pleased to show this 1966 Gibson SG Standard in the very rare and original Pelham Blue. The finish has aged to a pretty even Inverness Green color. It’s actually very difficult to tell if it is Inverness or Pelham; the back of the headstock is still blue but under the pickguard the finish is green. Either way it’s original and certainly not Cherry! This SG is a factory 2nd, which is common to see on Pelham Blue Gibsons from this era. This SG shows its fair share of honest play wear and sounds amazing. As to be expected, it features a bound fingerboard with block inlays and chrome hardware.

Overall Condition: 8.5, patina and light wear
