1981 Gibson SG "Walnut"

This 1981 Gibson SG packs a punch! The three-piece body sports a classic Walnut finish that highlights the fine mahogany grain beautifully, and the medium "C" shaped neck feels great in combination with the rosewood board and original low-profile frets. The Norlin-era features are apparent, including the larger headstock, neck volute, chrome tuners, small-block inlays, and side-mounted jack. The slightly heavier body is a welcome change to some players, countering the "neck-dive" earlier SGs are known for. Overall, this is an excellent guitar for any player, and could be a great introduction to vintage for a newer collector! Includes original Gibson hardshell case.
