1966 Gibson SG Custom Black

Here's a lefty 1966 Gibson SG Custom in factory original, custom color Ebony finish! Impossibly rare example, with all parts on the guitar being original. Pots date to the 29th week of 1965. Serial number 849861 dates the guitar to 1966. The Gibson shipping ledger has the guitar shipping out of the factory on 3-15-67. With the exception of one extra screw hole located under the 'G' tuner, and a professionally repaired crack just below the output jack, that goes to the control cavity, the rest of the guitar is crack/break/repair free. The heal/neck joint is perfect! Playability is exceptional, with buttery low action down the fingerboard. The neck has a comfortable medium C shape profile. The guitar has been professionally re-fretted, which really enhances how great it plays. Three fantastic sounding original Pat No Sticker humbuckers, that all sound amazing! The pickup covers have never been removed. Just an overall incredible piece. OHSC!
