1972 Gibson SG Custom Walnut

Here is a real rock machine ! This is a 1972 Gibson SG Custom . The customer who brought this one in has owned it since 1977 , it has had a neck repair at the heel which is solid and has been this way for over 45 years , the original factory Bigsby was removed and a stop tailpiece has been installed, the D tuner is bent but functions. The great part about this guitar is that it maintains all its original electronics with the pots dating to 1972 ( serial number falls between 1967-'69) all pickups are also original . At some point in the 70's someone tried to remove the finish with some parts of the body finish showing sanding marks . Great player ! W/HSC
