1998 Gibson SG Deluxe Ice Blue

This 1998 Gibson SG Deluxe electric guitar is in excellent condition featuring asymmetrical double cutaway body, three Firebird style humbucking pickups, one volume control and one tone control with black reflector top knobs, six way pickup selector switch with black “chicken head” knob, multi-ply white pearloid pickguard, tune-o-matic bridge, Maestro branded Bigsby tailpiece, unbound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays starting at the third fret, black peghead face with gold Gibson decal logo, multi-ply white pearloid truss rod cover, serial number and Made in USA on the back of the peghead, single ply black plastic electronics cavity cover plate, two metal strap buttons, Ice Blue finish, and brown Gibson hard shell case with pink plush interior lining (the case handle is detached on one side).

This 1998 Gibson SG Deluxe in excellent cosmetic condition and is the nicest example of this model that we've ever come across. This instrument shows only very light signs of play wear and use throughout and still has the protective plastic film covering the electronics control cavity cover plate. The fret wire is in great shape and has lots of life left and this guitar plays well with low smooth action and good intonation. The original Maestro tremolo operates smoothly. All three mini-humbucking Firebird style pickups sound great and the electronics are in perfect working order. This guitar features a six way pickup selector switch that allows for an array of cool and interesting tones. This guitar is housed in a period correct brown Gibson hard shell case with pink plush interior lining. This guitar is a Series 1 release (#25 of 50) and includes its original and very rare Gibson keychain with information about the instrument.
