2001 Gibson SG Gothic Satin Ebony

Summary: This is a very clean example of a menacing take on the Gibson SG. All black hardware, black finish, star and moon inlay at the 12th fret, humbucking pickups and ghostly Gibson logo, you get a very unique and quality Gibson SG “Gothic”. Ships in a Gibson gig-bag.

Body: The mahogany body is finished in black satin lacquer and topped with a single ply black pickguard.

Neck: The mahogany neck is finished in black satin, has a medium full D profile, 22 frets, black Grover tuners, star and moon inlay at the 12th fret, white outline Gibson logo, black nut, 24 ¾” scale length and 1 11/16” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: It has 2 black Gibson Humbuckers, 3 way toggle, 2 volumes, 2 tones, and all black hardware.

Cosmetics: This SG is in really great condition overall but it does show some signs of typical playing wear. There are some minor scratches and dings throughout the body but nothing too severe, mostly picking scratches and a spot on the lower horn where the finish has chipped away (see picture). The frets are in fantastic shape, they are tall and show no wear.

Playability: Our in house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this SG with a new set of 10s. The action is low, the neck is straight and the frets are smooth with no gouges in them, making for easy bending and all around ease when playing.
