Here's a 1967 Gibson SG Jr in Cherry finish. Killer players example, that plays and sounds fantastic! Here's the skinny: The guitar has a pickup route under the guard (see pic's), along with plugged holes where another volume and tone knob would've been, along with the selector switch. Now the guitar is back setup to its original standard SG Jr configuration. Good news about the route...the guitar is now even more featherweight! It's also now setup as a stop tail, as there used to be a Lyre Vibrola on it (there are 3 small filled holes under the bridge). The finish is original, just super worn. The pickugard, pickup, tuners and pots/electronics are all repro. The pickup is a great sounding Kent Armstrong P-90, that's fat, rich, and clear....how a great old P-90 should sound! The neck has a worn in medium C feeling profile, and plays smooth and fast. Action is low down the length of the fingerboard. Can't stress how good it plays. Just a super vibey guitar, with that good old wood, and some cool modern aesthetics. HSC included...
