1971 SG Professional
A rare model that was only on the market for about 2 years and had a short life
In early 1970, the lineup of SG Custom, SG Standard, SG Special, and SG Junior was changed to SG Custom, SG Deluxe, and SG Professional, and this SG Professional was released as the successor to the previous Special and Junior models. SG Custom, SG Deluxe, and SG Professional. This guitar is missing, but it was originally equipped with a Les Paul-like triangle pickguard. The neck is slim, with a nut width of about 40.5mm, and the low-position is also characteristic of this period. Controls are mounted on the top panel for easy maintenance. P-90 pickups are mounted on the top panel, and the embossed pickup covers are very impressive. The Bigsby unit, which produces a large vibrato, is also equipped. However, this model was a sales failure, as evidenced by its short life span. This guitar is recommended for those who want an SG, but don't want to play the same guitar as others.
