We're used to seeing SG Specials with a pair of P-90s, but in the mid-70s, Gibson experimented with putting Mini-Humbuckers in the SG Special, and that's what we have here. These Mini-Humbuckers give this SG a unique sound which we really dig. You can add this distinctive guitar to your collection for not a lot of dough, considering it's a vintage Gibson. It's all original except for the frets (nice pro refret) and the bridge. The finish has faded and looks a bit like Walnut Stain, but looking in the control cavities, we can see that this 50 year old started its life as a Cherry Red SG.
Freshly set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech, so this SG is playing sweet as can be. Comes with its original hard shell case. What a great package for some lucky SG aficionado.
