1962 Gibson SG Standard Pelham Blue

We've had a lot of killer SG's come through but this one stands out as one of the best! The body was professionally refinished many years ago in a stunning Pelham Blue, which along with the original nickle parts and "Sidepull" vibrato makes this a truly elegant looking guitar. The original "Patent Number" pickups can go from warm and mellow to biting and aggressive, while the great playing neck is somewhere between the thin necks of the early 60's and the fuller profiles of a '63-4 SG. The mahogany body is free from any breaks or repairs and is beautifully balanced. Pelham Blue SG Standards almost never come up for sale, and even more rare to find one that sounds this good!
