1964 Gibson SG STANDARD Red, Excellent, Original Hard, $10,500.00
This is the best year for SG's, I think: Medium to chunky neck and no sideways trem. Two unopened patent number pickups (the same as a late pAF) and all original but for a fret job. Nice vibrant color with only some fade on the back of the neck. Condition is around a 9. NO breaks, no stress cracks in the cutaways, no heel repair, no excuses. Solid unbroken SG's are getting harder to find and when you do find one, it's priced somewhere between retail and stupid. Photos coming.
