1969 GIBSON SG STANDARD CHERRY RED NEAR MINT

For Sale is this beautiful completely original Cherry Red ,Gibson 1969 SG Standard ,serial number 560001, The pot date is 1376852, which is the 52nd week of 1968, which makes it an early 1969. I am the Second owner and has owned this guitar for many years And took excellent care of it.There were no changes at all. There is no fading ,and no checking , just few chips and light scratches, To be expected of a 55 year old guitar. There are no breaks at all, This guitar always had the original Kluson Tuners, This guitar was never grovered , and there are no extra holes anywhere , just check the pictures. The finish is completely original with no overspray what so ever, The pickups,Tuners,wiring, switches, knobs, bridge , thum wheels ,pick guard, pots and all the plastic are original to this guitar.
The hard shell case is all original with the Gibson tag and is in good shape. All the laches work.
These are the original frets to this guitar and are like brand new ,The binding and nut are all original to this guitar. The trust rod works perfect , This guitar has amazing low action , and plays very easy, With a great straight and smooth neck .This guitar weighs , 6.1 lbs, very light and very resonant loud acoustically . This SG is collector grade , one of the cleanest ones out there, or you can just use it as your favorite guitar for many years to come ,like I did.
