2019 Gibson SG Voodoo Juju

Excellent condition featuring pointed asymmetrical double cutaway contoured swamp ash body, two Gibson Voodoo humbucking pickups with black and red exposed coil bobbins, two volume controls and two tone controls with black and red plastic bonnet knobs, three way pickup selector switch with black plastic tip and black and red plastic Rhythm and Treble ring, large single ply black plastic beveled edge pickguard, output jack on the front of the body, stop tailpiece and Gibson Nashville tune-o-matic bridge with six individual adjustable steel saddles and two height adjusting thumb wheels, set maple neck, richlite fingerboard with red dot inlays starting at the third fret, black nut, Gibson open book peghead shape with black peghead face and red Gibson logo, single ply black plastic bell shaped truss rod cover, Grover Rotomatic tuning machines, serial number and Made in USA impressed into the back of the peghead, single ply black plastic electronics control cover plate, two metal strap buttons, Gibson JuJu finish, black plated metal hardware, Gibson branded leatherette padded gig bag and all original paperwork. This guitar weighs 6lb 10oz.

This 2019 Gibson SG Voodoo JuJu is in excellent (almost unplayed) cosmetic condition showing virtually no play wear throughout. The neck profile on this SG is that of a nice rounded chunky carve and is very comfortable in the hand. The frets on this instrument show no signs of play wear and have a lifetime of use left in them. This guitar plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard. The Gibson Voodoo humbucking pickups sound pretty righteous and excel with an overdriven amplifier. These pickups are very reminiscent of the Gibson 498T and 490R pickup set that came in the original version of this model and many, many Gibson models of the 90s and 2000s. These humbuckers are very aggressive but really maintain quite a bit of clarity and really have a nice woody clean sound as well. This SG is housed in its original brown leatherette Gibson branded gig bag and includes all paperwork. This model was an exclusive run that offers a new alternative to the original cult classic Voodoo series and if you were a fan of those guitars, then I believe this model will not disappoint.
