2013 Gibson SJ-100 "1941" Reissue Sunburst
This authentic American creation embodies the essence and strength of Gibson's celebrated Super Jumbo series. It's in excellent playing condition and comes with it's original hardshell case. Featuring handcrafted solid tonewoods, the spruce top and mahogany back and sides produce rich, resonant tones with deep bass and impressive projection! This one has very light wear from use (some swirling to the top), but has been taken great care of.
Designed as a fitting counterpart to the legendary SJ-200, dubbed the "King of the Flat-Tops," the SJ-100 shares similar contours and proportions, enhanced by subtle, historically-inspired details that resonate with musicians.
The simple yet timeless fire stripe nitrocellulose pick guard faithfully replicates the look of the inaugural SJ-100s introduced in 1939. Equipped with a Baggs Element pickup, the SJ-100 is well-equipped for any live performance environment!
