A timeless beauty is the Gibson SJ-200 - the "King of Flattops".
This example is in excellent condition. Unlike late 60s and 1970s J-200s, this one has a wider nut that makes it really comfortable to play. You get that big, full tone that only a J-200 can produce.
We noticed that these models came with LR Baggs Session VTC pickup systems from the factory. This guitar seems to have had the system changed. The VTC uses their under-saddle pickup. The system in the guitar has a mic and an input for the under saddle unit, but that part is not present - it was removed for some reason. It could easily be added, and the existing control unit allows for connection and blending of the under saddle pickup with the mic.
Included is the original case, strap and some paperwork.
Shipping policy:
Three day UPS air shipments will be automatic for buyers including these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions. If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com. Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
