Up for sale a marvelous Gibson Southern Jumbo from 1954. We love Southern Jumbos. I mean we really love them. This one is especially nice. Super lightweight and with a great big sound. And it plays beautifully, too, thanks to a professional neck reset and a refret.
A few mods and repairs but nothing that compromises the vintage integrity of the instrument. In addition to the neck reset and refret, the tuner buttons (just the buttons) have been replaced and there are a few top/back crack repairs. The instrument is structurally sound and playing its best so no worries there.
The guitar has a factory stinger (backside of headstock is painted) which is rare and cool to see. Comes with its original black alligator-style softshell case in fair to good vintage condition. Original leather handle and hinges. All latches work. The case has its share of wear and tear, but still perfectly functioning and very cool looking.
