1964 Gibson Thunderbird II "Sunburst"

One of the coolest and best sounding Gibson bass designs, the Thunderbird can be seen on stage with some of our favorite bass players. This first-year example is lightweight and resonant, and extremely versatile. It is not often these come up for sale with no breaks or repairs, making this clean and original example a perfect instrument for player's and collector's alike. The neck-thru design, reverse body and single humbucking pickup make for a unique tone that sits well in any situation. This guitar still features the earlier nickel hardware, and also includes the original Gibson hardshell case.
