I'm thrilled to have just picked up this 1966 Gibson Trini Lopez Standard in original Pelham Blue finish from its sole owner since 1967. This Trini was used as the house guitar for the Mexico City based lounge music dance band Comparse Internacional in the late 1960s and 1970s. I was very surprised to find that it has a transitional neck width measuring just a hair over 1 5/8" (exact measurement is 1 21/32 or 42.1mm) and original Nylon nut.
