2004 Gibson USA Firebird Studio Ebony
The Firebird is one of the most famous guitars of the 1960s, following the Flying V and the Explorer.
Unlike the electric guitars based on acoustic guitars until the 1950s, the Firebird is famous for its original construction, including a through-neck and reverse head, and may be said to be the first electric guitar designed by Gibson from scratch.
It is probably the first electric guitar designed by Gibson from scratch, and is most famous for being used by million-dollar guitarist Johnny Winter.
The Firebird is currently being discontinued by Gibson, but a Studio with rare specs has just arrived in stock!
Originally, there were many variations of Firebird, such as I, III, V, VII, and non-reverse, and various derivative models have been produced in later years.
Since the 90's, the Firebird has been released as an entry to middle class model in the Studio Series, which is still very popular today.
The Firebird differs from other Studio models in that it is not a low-priced version of the standard specs, but rather has its own unique specs.
The set neck and full-size humbucker make it easy to play in today's music scene.
The rounded edges of the body and the shape of the pickguard are also unique features of this model, and it can be seen that this was not just a low-priced model, but a model with a lot of effort.
Only the early model has a reverse head, and the conventional stepped design is still in place! This is an important point that greatly affects the bright, slender, and unique sound.
It is also known that Dave Grohl of NIRVANA / FOO FIGHTERS used this early version as his favorite guitar, making it a valuable piece for fans.
It is in good playing condition, although it has some scratches and damage due to its black color!
No parts have been replaced, and the nut, frets, and truss rod are still in good condition.
