Gibson USA 2023 Kirk Hammett "Greeny" Les Paul Standard
This model is a replica of the 1959 Les Paul Standard, commonly known as the "Greenie".
This Les Paul replica has passed through the hands of famous guitarists from Peter Green to Gary Moore, and is currently owned by Kirk Hammett of Metallica.
The body top is made from AAA grade figured maple with a satin 'Greeny Burst' finish and the bridge volume/tone knobs have been replaced with reflector hat knobs.
The pickups are specially designed "Greenybucker" pickups, and the neck pickups have inverted magnets like the original one, giving a phased sound in the mixed position.
The neck is labelled "50s Vintage," but it is a relatively narrow C-shape.
There is a scratch on the body top (near the elbow), but it is in very good condition with no other noticeable scratches or dents.
There is not much fret wear, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
