Gibson USA 2019 The Paul 40th Anniversary

This is a limited edition of "The Paul" to commemorate the 40th anniversary of its release in 1979.

This model was produced for a short period in the late 70's and early 80's as a cost-effecti model with a flat top and simple looks without any decoration.

The body and neck are walnut as on the original model, but the fingerboard has been changed from ebony to rosewood, the head has no veneer and silk-screen, and the characteristic volutes and other features have been reproduced.

It follows the 2019 specs, with Tektoid nut (graphite with a reduced coefficient of friction), cryo-treated frets, etc.

The neck is relatively slim and the guitar features a Grover tuners/aluminium tailpiece/speed knobs/metal jack plate/black parts, etc.

The pickups are equipped with 490R & 498T.

There are several tiny dents on the body top, several scratches on the body back, several dents on the edge of the body, scratches on the side of the body, and small paint chips on the back of the neck (10th~11th fret).

There is almost no fret wear and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
