1996 Gilchrist Model 5 in excellent condition. Gilchrist instruments are handmade by Stephen Gilchrist, widely regarded as the finest contemporary mandolin builder. This mandolin has a Red Spruce soundboard, sugar maple back sides and neck. Scale length is 13 ⅞”, 1 3/16” nut width, and 10 2/8th body width. Comes with a Calton case.
