Giulietti amps from this period were manufactured by Ampeg, and for those who know, this is a best-kept-secret in the world of vintage amps.

First, you'll note that this is a super cool looking amp, and a compact, portable package.  It is in excellent condition for a 1959 as well.

The amp is reminiscent of Fender tweed amps from the period, and it leans on a similar output section as the Deluxe.  The preamp utilizes octal-based tubes rather than 12AX7s, which is part of the unique voice of the amp, a little more like a pre-'55 Fender than a later 50s model.

The tremolo is as sweet as the tone of the amp.

One great thing about the amp is that it has been responsibly serviced, with new filter caps and a couple updated caps in the circuit.  Whomever did the work treaded lightly, worked cleanly, and replaced only what was necessary.  The power cable was replaced with a grounded one.  The handle is also replaced.
The Jensen P12S is original and sounds fantastic.

I'm going to hate selling this one, just as I did the last Giulietti, but alas - this is my job!
