When Leo Fender Redesigned the Stratocaster he improved the Tremolo System, Pickup System and added components not found on Fenders such as felt dampeners between the Trem and Body. These quiet the Trem from being picked up when smacking against the body.
We just did a complete inspection and give this Comanche a clean bill of health. No rash, worming, modifications or repairs. The fret wire shows no wear to speak of. It is a beautiful piece of Swamp Ash finished in a Thin Skin Urethan Finish. I am a hugh fan of the Z-coil pickups. They retain all the Quack and Sparkle while being NOISELESS. The instrument has a beautifully grained rosewood fretboard on a fast maple neck. Mary Ellen is setting it up using feeler gauges and straight edges to insure low buzz free action. To be on the showroom floor today.
