Godin 5th Avenue CW Kingpin II
Description
Summary: The 5th Avenue CW Kingpin features a Cutaway body design with two Godin Kingpin P90 single-coil pickups that deliver classic vintage tone with presence and clarity. Made from Canadian Wild Cherry, the body of the 5th Avenue features a molded arched top and back, as well as an adjustable bridge, classic F-holes, contoured high-gloss headstock, floating pickguard, and cream binding.
Body: Canadian Wild Cherry top/back/sides, satin Cognac Burst finish.
Neck: Silver Leaf Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.84” scale length, 1.72” nut width, 16” radius, 21 frets, dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Godin P90 single coil pickups, 1x Tone, 1x Volume, 3-way Switch, floating pickguard, adjustable bridge, GraphTech nut, trapeze tailpiece.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. The back of the neck has some light indentations. There are a couple very small dings on the back of the body. The heel of the neck has a deeper indentation and has wear around the edges (See Photos Please).
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
